Do I need to complete a verification process?

Yes. It is to ensure a safe and secure experience for both guests and hosts, we require verification to prevent unauthorized transactions and facilitate a smooth check-in process.

What documents do I need to submit?

You need to provide the following within 3 days:

  • A clear photo of your valid government-issued ID, held beside your face.
  • A photo of the credit card used for booking, showing the name and card number.

How will my documents be used?

Your documents are used solely for verification purposes and are handled securely in accordance with our data protection policies.

What happens if I don’t submit the documents within 3 days?

If we do not receive the requested documents within 3 days, your reservation will be automatically canceled.

How do I submit the documents?

Please reply to the email with the requested photos at your earliest convenience.

What is required to make a reservation?

When you find the condo or cabin of your choice you can either book the property online https://www.stargazerstays.com/ or call us at +1 865 446-0773 . When making your reservation we require a 50% required up front payment to confirm your booking and this is applied towards your balance due. The remaining balance is processed 14 days prior to check-in. We accept Visa, MasterCard or Discover. Checks are acceptable and must be in U.S. Funds and received 30 days prior to your arrival.

How do I get access into the property?

All properties have keyless entry pads. When your balance is paid in full we will request a 4 digit code from you.

How will I receive my confirmation and arrival instructions from Star Gazer Stays?

All confirmation and arrival instructions will be sent via email. To make certain you receive these emails, please adjust your spam filter to add the domain karen@stargazerstays.com to your list of accepted email addresses. You will receive a reservation confirmation including directions and arrival instructions via email within minutes of making your reservation. If you have not received these emails, please contact us at +1 865-446-0773 or via email at karen@stargazerstays.com.

What is your Cancellation and Refund Policy?

In the event the Guest wishes to cancel the reservation, Travel Insurance, Damage Protection and any processing or administrative fees are non-refundable. The only refunds issued will be cleaning fees, resort fees and taxes. The nightly accommodation fee is non-refundable. Cancellations must be requested in writing via email to karen@stargazerstays.com

How many people are allowed to stay in each home?

Is there a fully equipped kitchen in all vacation rentals?

Our properties do have fully stocked kitchens but you should check https://www.stargazerstays.com/properties/

Are linens and towels provided?

Yes, there are linens and towels provided in each vacation rental. All bedding is provided and towels are supplied. Beach towels are not included so we recommend that you bring your own from home.

Are the vacation cabins cleaned daily?

No, the vacation cabins are cleaned before your arrival and after your departure.

Are the properties Non-Smoking?

Yes, all of our properties are strictly Non-Smoking.

Are security deposits required?

For all direct bookings, a refundable deposit of $1,000 is charged to the card on file at the time of booking. This amount will be refunded within 5 business days of check-out, provided that no damage or missing items are identified. Additionally, guests who book directly are required to provide evidence of positive review ratings from online booking platforms in the form of screenshots.

How should I leave the property?

Although a housekeeping attendant comes before you arrive and after you leave to ensure the property is clean, you are responsible for leaving the property in the condition you received it in. You are renting some one’s home and you should leave it the way you would want your own left. Excess cleaning, if needed, will be held from your security deposit.

Is there Internet Service?

Many of our properties offer high-speed internet service for your convenience. Due to the numerous different providers and the various ages and configurations of personal computers, we cannot guarantee that you will be able to connect. We will do our best to assist you, but cannot be held responsible and NO REFUNDS will be offered if you are unable to take advantage of this service.

Are pets allowed?

NO PETS shall be allowed on the Premises. Your breach of this provision shall be considered material, and shall result in the termination of your tenancy and forfeiture of all monies paid.
